When Zionism – which is the West’s racism compressed into the poisonous and deadly package we see today – wants to criticize Palestinians and lay the blame at their door, for all its own treacherous acts, it often invokes one of its greatest weapons, that of the accusation of religiously regressive beliefs against the pretence of Western liberalism.

But individual liberty, rights and equality are the boasts of the West that we have seen progressively undone recently, around the central crux of the Palestine issue, which has acted as a moral mechanism to unweave all lies constituting the elaborate embroidery that held up the fabric of “Western values”.

The pattern of this has disentangled and ruptured spectacularly in full public view, a surface structure that has dissolved to reveal the real face underneath, that of colonial savagery and ruthless exploitation that much of the West has been built upon, revolved around and congratulated itself profusely on.

The savages are the people from those other places, to be subdued, enslaved and put firmly into their places. Polite tolerance is all very well - but if there’s an uprising of any kind, when push comes to shove – then the structures of imperialism come together and collude, with their unspoken code of mutual racketeering and protection.

Here, myths of a clash of civilizations are deployed in order to create polarizations that favour the West and primitivize all others as backward and ignorant. Irony of ironies, such ingrained assumptions serve only to make those who have been privileged, become lazy in their arguments and entitled without basis – thus expressing their ignorance in full view.

I’m talking about the racists who can’t point to Iran on a map but somehow feel strongly about Muslim women covering their hair; or people who talk about Britain being “great” but know nothing of the history of civilizations – nor do they care. TV presenters who moan about colonialism being taught as a bad thing and who demonstrate utter lack of civility during their tirades of calling others uncivilized.

The arrogance of Empire cannot be underestimated, nor can the accumulated sense of privilege at being a part of a system that seeks its sense of superiority from the domination of all others; “Israel” and Zionism is just a more concentrated microcosm of this sickness.

When Guy Pearce recently expressed his legitimate disgust at the “Israeli’s” behaviours, numerous Western media agencies rushed to condemn him - amongst their concerns, that of even one “Israeli” wrongfully condemned by being tarred with the same brush; and yet they have been perfectly happy to tar all Palestinians with one brush, denying their individuality.

This inherent colonial denial of the individuality of the ethnic person is a critical part of the bedrock of racism and dehumanization; white people have rich histories, unique personalities, depth and emotional complexity – even if they’re just a genocidal gun toting fascist wanker.

On the other hand ethnic people are described in collective format and lumped together with language that rarely does justice to their individual intellect, character or depth.

The genocide of numerous Palestinian scholars and intellectuals took place – over 95 Palestinian university professors were killed by “Israel” in the genocide, and we didn’t hear about a single one in the news. Professor Sufyan Tayeh a prominent Physics researcher, Professor Refaat Alareer a celebrated poet, writer and academic, and so many others; let alone Doctors, surgeons, sports people and of course, the hundreds of thousands of individuals whose stories we will never know.

Surface, Reality, And A Match Made in Hell

The plethora of racist comments I have heard about Palestinians in the past 2 years especially, would be funny if only they weren’t steeped in a toxic and violent ideology of hatred that is enacted in the bloodiest and most savage ways.

It would be funny because everybody I know who has interacted with the Palestinians remarks precisely on how civilized, dignified and educated they are as a people, which is evidenced by their behaviour when they appear on media platforms; as opposed to the supposedly civilized representatives of the West, the “Israeli’s” and Zionists.

However – what we see in the Zionists is the Wests surface layer of “civilization” and “manners” stripped away to reveal what lies directly beneath; the grin pulled back into a snarl, that of the attack dog that guards its ill gained privileges with the aggression of the true criminal.

In fact, Zionists amplify the real colonial values that have built and sustained the West, without cloak or cover, without veneer or pretence. Mixed into this particular ideology is of course, the deadly strain of the virus of Jewish Supremacy, but this doesn’t mitigate the blame upon the former, it just reveals how well aligned the two are, and how brothers in crime will always unite in arms.

Asymmetry of Apartheid and Gazan Self-determination

So therefore, the Zionists, whose defence mechanism par excellence is projection, will project all of their faults onto the other and will attribute all natural outcomes of their apartheid actions onto the object of their virulence.

When Zionists criticize Palestinians for being a religious society while in the same mouth spitting dogmatic lies as they bark about their religiously ordained rights to expunge Palestinians from their land and kill man, woman and child – they vividly demonstrate as usual, their own religious zealotry.

But another crucial point that people often miss is that Gaza has been under siege since 2005, with all routes in and out, controlled by “Israel” – Gaza’s airspace, sea and land borders have been controlled by “Israel” for a decade, a stringent blockade that has been described by human rights organizations as constituting an “open-air prison”.

Therefore, in a society under siege, Gaza has evolved in unusual ways. In some ways the society has probably become much more inward looking as members of communities rely on one another when isolated from the outside world, and traditions grow stronger.

In a community that has been constantly under attack for almost a century, the object of brutal injustice by its oppressors, Gazans would be expected to become stronger in their faith. These are the inevitable effects of apartheid, isolation and oppression.

But at the same time, they have also craved opportunities and used their unique resilience and resourcefulness to seek ways to escape the fate doled out to them by the occupiers; they are uniquely educated and hardworking, because career and education have been their passport to freedom.

Having worked with many of them, as a former educator I can categorically state that they are head and shoulders above any students I have encountered elsewhere, including those from elite institutions. Within systems of racial inequity ethnic people have often had to be twice as good; but within an apartheid system and open air prison, you have to be at least three times as good to escape.

Therefore, Palestinians work much harder than average students, behave in a more refined way and never allow sloppy standards. Their emphasis on education from an early age as well as the harsh conditions inflicted on them, mean that they have an incredibly steep learning curve from the day they are born; this has become ingrained at a fundamental level, so that it is has become the case over time, that they are indeed cut from a different cloth.

Doctors who have visited Gaza have remarked on how educated the people are, making working there at least easier in the respect of not having to translate, compared to other regions they have worked in around the world.

Currently, “Israel”, has bombed all the schools and infrastructure of Gaza in the scholasticide arm of their savage and barbaric bombing campaign of civilians, and has killed thousands of people including the young talent of tomorrow. And yet the Palestinians with their extraordinary persistence and spirit, keep on rising – it’s just that this time, the world has seen both faces, the occupier and occupied, whether they wish to acknowledge this or not.

The face of the occupier – that of a rabid attack dog with its face set in a snarl, justifying its apartheid, occupation and land theft, guarding its ill-gotten gains with ill-natured aggression and bestiality, ready to rape, snipe children, attack elders and use civilians as human shields; and the face of the occupied – determined, resilient, trying their best to survive after this latest catastrophe and Nakba revisited.

A grain of truth wrapped in Layers of Lies: October 7^th

What is remarkable is that racists and Zionists still insist on peddling lies about October 7^th. The claims of widespread sexual violence have been categorically debunked by UN inspectors as have the lurid stories of beheaded babies and babies in ovens. These were mere previews of what “Israel” intended to do, and has done, in 3d colour since that time, and on an ongoing basis.

When the only defence possible to a genocidal and racist people is to keep flogging a dead horse, you know that deep down they don’t even believe their own lies, it is just a case of the psychopath projecting his or her own penchant for violence onto others.

Recently Zionists have been spreading the lie that the Hannibal Directive is a myth. Until 2003 “Israeli” censorship around military doctrine forbade this doctrine from being discussed, but there is extensive evidence – until deleted from the internet of course – that the military doctrine orders soldiers to kill their own in order to prevent them being kidnapped by opposing forces.

At this point in time, no intelligent person should swallow the lies of October 7^th, even if they are shown HD propaganda videos at work and subjected to the polite menace or self-victimization narratives of their “Israeli” colleagues at work, as several acquaintances of mine have, and who have subsequently obediently trotted out the standard propaganda about “Israel’s” “security” and other such myths, like programmed robots.

Significantly, none of these individuals knew anything about the history of the Middle East nor had ever spoken to a Palestinian. Prominent “Israeli” historians such as Omer Bartov, Amos Goldberg, Ilan Pappe and Michael Ben-Yair have long stated that “Israel’s” treatment of Palestinians constitutes apartheid, as have all the main human rights organizations.

The best that “Israel” supporting Westerners can now claim is that this is the current government; however the truth is that “Israels” very origin as a settler-colonial entity predicated on violence and erasure of the indigenous peoples is severely problematic and always has been.

Racial Affiliations, Ignoring of Evidence and Denial of Apartheid

My question is always, how on earth do supposedly educated and intelligent people manage to gloss over, skirt around and ignore, that Palestinians have been living under apartheid and brutal occupation during their denial of Palestinian rights and their affirmations of “Israel’s” right to “security”?

This is pure colonial adherence and siding with the party that supposedly represents the West, it is the product of racial polarity that places the West in opposition to the East and casts the one as progressive even despite all evidence to the contrary, from the very mouths of the representatives of occupation.

The mere injustice of the ongoing apartheid and systematic attempts at stripping dignity and human rights from the Palestinians that have been in progression for the past 76 years at least, and have been broadcast now in their full throttle manifestation for 2 years reveal what “Israel” is.

Anybody defending an apartheid state that inflicts human misery on others and that is capable of the atrocities we have seen in the past 2 years – bombing hospitals, setting on fire refugee tents, killing ambulance workers, systematically sniping children, gang raping prisoners including with the use of dogs, withholding food and medical supplies, killing babies in incubators – is either wilfully blind due to ingrained racial affiliations, or completely ignorant of Middle East politics and History and the reality of what has been going on.

“Israel’s” ongoing refusal to allow in international journalists speaks not only to its utter disrespect of the rule of engagement but also foregrounds its own awareness of its lies, its insistence on covering over the scene of its heinous crimes. If “Israel” had any decency or honesty it would be transparent, but instead it prefers to commit crime upon crime and then tell the international community barefaced lies.

None of this emerged from the aether without foundation, it is the fabric of “Israeli culture”, the product of hate and the logical outcome of racist policies and indoctrination; it is the apotheosis of their entrenched position and the expression of their stance towards the Palestinians.

The adoption of the position of wilful blindness though, is a part of the structure of institutional racism and Zionism that must be undone if we are to remove the blinkers of ignorance and progress forwards. Knowing what we now know, and what we have seen, there can be no more pretending that “Israel” is a civilized state with any semblance of normality, not when we have seen the behaviours of their representatives, the footage of their society campaigning for the right to rape, and now execute Palestinian prisoners held without trial.

We must make the choice to either accept the truth of what “Israel” has done for decades and to understand that this is not isolated and detached but an integral part of a pattern emerging from the building blocks of hate, oppression and apartheid, or continue to delude ourselves that “Israel” is a Western democracy with civilized values.
