Like a fire burning in a closed system sucking up all the oxygen until it implodes obscene and compulsive consumption will eventually do the same. When and at what cost is the question.

Good analogy - sadly the human cost is huge and tragic.

I am sad, deeply, in my heart and soul. Further as a western white man in the U.S. I am frustrated and embarrassed as this country destroys public education, the effective functions of civil government and turns to darkness, division and facisim.

Jesus was a Palestinian, he was also a Jew and he rejected the Judaism of his fellow Jews in Palestine - for their greed of money and called it a sin to worship money.

Now we have so-called followers of Jesus-Evangelicals-who teach that the worship of money is good when, in fact it is only the rich man, and the leaders of that cult, that gets richer from this scheme and has, like the Jews, chosen to worship satan instead, which is diabolical because they are leading more people into a world of pain and horror while increasing their wealth and supporting with money and weapons a satanic cult. You all seem to have forgot that it was in actuality the Jews who murdered Jesus, which was the main reason people hated them, apart from their dodgy financial dealings. Jews and money, Jews and cheating, Jews and slaughter - remember the innocent children killed by the Jewish supported King Herod?

Now they have turned the world's people against each other with their manipulations of money and power hungry, easily led politicians that gave them carte Blanche in Palestine, and boy have they used it way beyond the expectations of any supporting country to such an extent that their people have turned against them - somewhat late but it is happening.

Most people are weak, just want to live whatever life they have chosen and will follow along with a bullying leader until his rules bite too hard to bear.

I think what we are seeing now is the turnings from being, jot only stepped on but stood on where any one person believes it's his right to rule the world, fed by a bunch of inept sycophants he chose for their total lack of expertise or any idea how to wriggle out of the position they've found themselves in so, instead of having the guts to leave the bow to the bully and praise him because that's what he craves 24/7, when anyone who truly stands up to said bully he will cave, usually after a lit of screaming and threatening and probably spittle flying, however stand your ground and he will bend.

World leaders are not elected to bend or sell their country to a bully, they are chosen to, hopefully, keep the promises to make the country better for the people, whether they voted for him/her or the other side. Not to hand their country to a despot, who will rip your country and people apart. That is what Drumpf is doing to the people of the world. He said he is chosen, that may be so, but by whom or what, that is the real question?

Sadly, with regards these governments and their recognition, it is too little, too late. They have shown they are not really willing to roll up their sleeves and do something tangible. But we, the people, will not stop in our efforts to bring attention to, and speak out for, an end to the genocide in Palestine. People power seems like last resort ....

It is mainly the people who are now rising - such as in Italy. Although the recent speech by Colombian president was fantastic.
