Palestine and The Hero Plot
In movies, novels, stories and myths it is always the hero’s that we root for – the lone individuals battling an insurmountable evil force, a structure of nefarious power and far reaching influence that crushes every person in its sphere and dominates the world. It is the David and Goliath trope all over again, whether in Harry Potter or spy movies where the lone hero fights a corrupt system.
We rightly admire the true warrior spirit, the person who, through their inner sense of justice and fairness, speaks for the underdog, risks their own neck and fights the system of inequality, exploitation and brutal dominion.
The hero will go through many trials, many injustices and seem almost to have lost the battle – with their paltry resources and the odds stacked against them, we know there is almost no chance for them to succeed against evil – and yet we hope against all hope that they will escape, rescue the oppressed and bring down the system.
This creative framework is one of the universal plots of all time, almost hardwired into our psyche’s as a fundamentally yearned for story because the resolution gives us so much satisfaction; to see the bully get their comeuppance, the brutal framework crumble and goodness to prevail.
That is all until it comes to the Palestine issue.

The Systematic Brutalization of Palestinians
Palestine has been occupied for 76 years albeit we know that the Zionist plan for dominance started 100 years ago or more (although we are not really supposed to look back to history – unless it is to October 7th, and then delusionally, 3,000 years before that to an imaginary “promise”).
Palestinians have long suffered the theft of their land increment by increment punctuated by larger chunks, just like their gradual erasure through a constant mowing of the lawn punctuated by successive Nakba’s.
The burning of olive groves, the beating up of elderly farmers that look like your sweet old grandfather (and their use as human shields), the killing and abduction of a child throwing stones at a tank, the sealing in of the Gazans into a tiny strip of land besieged by land, air and water and controlled by “Israel”.
Since 1967 between 750,000 and 1 million Palestinians have been arrested by “Israel” – they are called “prisoners” rather than hostages though, and they languish in “Israeli” detention centres - or we should call them “torture camps” - without trial and under inhumane conditions of extreme violence. Israel’s human rights violations are many and on another level of cruelty.
The Palestinians are so used to having to straitjacket themselves into submission, that they dare not speak loud about the occupation; even their physical expressions and body language are closely monitored and scrutinized through biometric surveillance programmes like Red Wolf – anybody with slightly clenched fists or a frown, could be suspect and a candidate for being shot on the spot.
“That’s because they’re probably a terrorist!” say the Jewish supremacists of “Israel”. Imagine – you have to pass through military checkpoints to take your child to school or go to a hospital, and you can’t even show your anger because you could be beaten up or killed.
Therefore you need to hide your feelings, curtail your indignation, conceal your sense of injustice and swallow down your frustration and rage. You must look placid and acquiesce; you must be a blank slate and seem as neutral as possible.
If you allow a flicker of emotion in this dystopian hell that you are being subjected to – your child could be left without a parent, you could be sexually abused at a checkpoint by the noble “soldiers” of the IOF, or you could end up in a “detention centre” – and we all know what happens there (and if you don’t you damn well should do).
The Handmaids Tale; The Hunger Games; 1984; Brave New World; Farenheit 451. I could go on. We read them and bristle at the injustice, we feel the underdogs pain, we clench our fists and hope against hope that the brutal oppressors will get a taste of their own.
And this is just a novel or movie.
So don’t talk to me about October 7th, where an array of groups in addition to Hamas broke through the fence with the inside knowledge of Netanhayu’s coalition, and abducted a mix of soldiers and civilians; the subsequent lurid lies immediately propagated by “Israel” along with their invocation of their right to “defend themselves” to international agreement, that formed the justification for reducing Gaza to rubble and decimating its population.
It was a reaction; Gaza was a pressure cooker. But the plan to destroy it was in place long before that date; this was always on the cards, and the fate of Gaza was written the moment the Zionists crossed the waters to arrive on the shores of the indegenous people’s land.
International Order gone mad
A few days ago the Gaza Flotilla set sail on international waters headed for Gaza where there has been a complete blockade for 3 months. A civilian population of 50% children have had the equivalent of two nuclear bombs dropped on them. What do they have to fight back? The military equivalent of a pea shooter.
Twelve people with, as far as I am concerned balls of steel, boarded the flotilla with baby formula, food and medical aid and set sail under supposed international protection with friendly intention towards the shores of Gaza; in international waters, to help the besieged population.
Political “leaders’ around the world were largely mute, and some outright hostile. Media figures like Piers and a number of other social media figures were negative towards Greta and the crew, probably for exposing their own cowardice and making a mockery of them by showing true bravery.
“Israel” kidnapped and arrested them and is currently deporting them for trying to provide supplies to the population it wants to continue killing in peace. The news of the flotilla has been largely suppressed in Western media, who have been 100% complicit with “Israel”.
In fact, as we have seen, the entire post WWII international rules based order has in recent months been completely unravelled, indeed demolished – all in order to pander to the evil one: “Israel”.
Heroes, Villians and “Israel’s” Desperation
The malignant narcissist will never, ever do the right thing. They are almost cartoonish villains – they lack a coherent psyche, sense of integrity or moral structure.
While highly organised seeming on the outside, clad in military gear and aligned into a little fascist organisation that mobilises itself into aggressive action at the touch of a button, the “Israeli” malignant narcissistic coalition are internally fragmented and lack depth or soul, just like the textbook narcissist.
Hence the bizarre and over the top stories about beheaded babies and babies in ovens (that have long been debunked – although no Western media outlets have covered the extensive debunking), and the lurid imagery that strikes a false note; hence also, the attempts to inflict these brutal realities upon the Palestinians, in a narcissistic projective playing out of their own diseased psyche: every accusation is a confession.
You want to talk about heroes? Dr Adnan Al Bursh who refused to leave his patients side and was raped to death in an “Israeli” detention centre. Dr Hussam Abu Safiyeh who also refused to leave his patients side, and was last seen “on the outside” a tragic and solitary figure walking alone in his white coat, towards two “Israeli” tanks with their guns pointed towards him. He is still in detention, in dire conditions and ailing health.
People who support Palestine started to use the meme: “Not all heroes wear capes”. (Indeed, when the Ukraine war happened, this line was used about NHS workers in the UK; luckily, the worst that happened to them was extra long shifts at work under trying conditions).
Zionists response to this? Stealing the meme and creating lurid “Israeli” superhero characters with actual capes, and trying to promote, the ASBO yobbish, women’s lingerie wearing “IDF” as heroes. Um yes ok – you may own the media and have an ironclad grip on social media, but your tropes are about as sophisticated as you are.
The truth is, that a people who are lazy, overprivileged and subsist on stolen resources and yet claim to be simultaneously the world’s most talented but victimized people; who have a collective sense of vindication and instinct of vindictiveness; who are shallow, entitled and spoiled – are never really going to come up with anything that convinces those with true humanity.
“Israel’s” desperation to “rescue” and reclaim any validity it may once have had, to try to polish it’s not merely tarnished, but shattered, image in the mirror of public opinion as it progressively isolates itself on the world stage – looks lame and pathetic.
It’s just that the Zionists – with their corporate success and affiliations with the corridors of power, their oversized Gucci shades and pretentious flouncing, their disproportionately lilo lipped and plastic faced female representatives (sorry, had to get that last bit in – but seriously, have you noticed this?) have a persona that screams “fake, disingenuous, and trashy”.
Sure, some quite impressionable people with no inner moral compass or BS radar, people who want to be with what they think is the “in crowd” – Zionists project an image of wealth, success, domination – will swallow this wholesale. I have by now lost faith in many people having their own brain to think with; and the spoilt and privileged who often support Zionism usually have a distinct lack of inner strength or substance – they would be happy to defend teenagers throwing a cat off a balcony, a baying “Israeli” mob attacking Arab boys or baying Jewish supremacist mobs of boys in New York City attacking a female protestor – but to the rest of us who have some substance and character, we know right from wrong.
We can see when rights are being abused and trampled over; we can see who are the honest, the exploited, the abused and dispossessed; we have an accurate sense of self and relationship with reality and morality; we are not impressed or influenced by the superficial; we know when the universal tropes of humanity are being subverted and twisted out of all recognition.
We do not watch movies and read novels about hero’s fighting the system, and then go back to supporting ”Israel” with no internal dissonance whatsoever. We know when reality is being twisted before our eyes and we are being asked to co-opt and support a system of unfairness, brute domination and tyranny.
We support the truth, we recognise injustice and we will continue to stand up for Palestine.
Free Palestine from “Israel” Forever.
Now a piece of filth, Mike Huckabee, has declared a Palestinian state is no longer US policy. They can carve up some Muslim country for that purpose. But then Phuckabee is an extremist Christian halfwit who wants Armageddon to herald the return of Christ.
I love you, absolutely spot on piece
