Thanks for the post πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯ !!!

Welcome to the planet of ego & greed ...

Modi, as the current leader of a huge nation with millenia of history and culture is a joke and entirely denigrades himself when aligning with the master-genocider of a totally synthetic country that hopefully will be finished before being able to "celebrate" its 80th. anniversary ...

Thank you! Good point - if anyone should have claims to superiority it is India, with its centuries rich culture. Instead, they're sucking up to a pretend country composed from an assortment of criminal psychopaths. Have some pride, honestly...

Just image Jiddu Krishnamurty, Buddha, Gandhi (just to name a few) on one side, sitting with Modi and Benjamin Mileikowsky (!!!) on the other, all having "a chat" about what makes us human ...

Time will tell, usually arrogance and supremacy leads to their forced, brutal demise in odd circumstances ... No drinks or finger-food will be served at this event !!!

True, those icons would be turning in their graves, at what Modi is reducing India to. So much wisdom and culture wasted. Yes arrogance and supremacy don't keep people popular for long, except with other arrogant fascist clowns. Thick as thieves...

Bear in mind the projection of India’s image β€œas a huge nation with millennia of history,” somewhat echoes Israel’s ancient biblical claim, and the construction of an imagined glorious history of both countries has colonial roots, when British decided to colonize India and Palestine. The Indian β€œnation with an ancient glorious past” rhetoric emerged from British colonial knowledge that constructed unwittingly Hindu nationalism, which to this day uses this orientalist discourse to beat up other minorities in India as β€œinvaders” of the great Hindu nation. So many parallels with Israel here. The British sought to construct an imagined β€œgreat Hindu nation” rhetoric to portray Muslims as outsiders (says the outsider British Empire).

The biggest observation that collapses this colonial knowledge of India is that India never existed as a β€œsingle nation” until the British came along, who not only changed the map of South Asia but also of West Asia and Palestine. Both regions are plagued by dastardly colonial forms of knowledge and geography that has created the two monsters: Hindu nationalism and Zionism. This is what Modi and Hindutva have grabbed onto in uniting with Israel. Take away orientalist colonial scholarship, and both Hindutva and Zionists projects and claims of ancient nationhood completely collapse. This is what Edward Said attempted to do with his work on Orientalism.

I should pen an article on this topic :)

Yes, an article would be very interesting. Agree, India's supremacist ideology is akin to Zionism and both seek to impose an ideological coherence upon what is a diversity of people, in order to strengthen a national - and nationalist - identity. Both based on exclusion and persecution of others. I often find Sikhs tend to be pro-Palestine. Yes, the British are responsible for carving up others lands and attempting to impose identities on them that suit their own agendas. Funny though that despite India supposedly having this rich history their cultural productions frequently ape the West.

They ape the West to the extent that the modern nation-state necessitates that India fit in to the family of modern nations, which it can’t do dancing around in the mythical play of Krishna and Hanuman et al.

Wow! Nice work. Sobia! This is excellent, concise analysis of what is happening in the Pakistan/ Indian conflict as we speak. Wake up people! The psychopathic Zionist Israeli government has locked arms (literally) with Modi's anti-Islamic campaign against our Muslim brothers, sisters, and their children. Is a Zionist style genocide coming to India?

Thank you Guy! Yes, both governments are aligned in ideology and anti-Muslim hatred - sad indictment of our times...
