The “New” UK, France and Canada Stance on Gaza

The UK, France and Canada have taken the unprecedented step of jointly condemning “Israel’s” genocidal campaign in Gaza – exactly 19 months too late - calling the human suffering “intolerable”, referring to “disproportionate escalation” and stating the risk of “breaching international Humanitarian Law”.

It is as if they just woke up, a year after the ICC issued arrest warrants for war criminals “Netanyahu” and Yoav Gallant, as well as the ICJ ruling for “Israel” to halt its military offensive in Rafah.

“Israel’s” grotesque genocidal campaign in Gaza as well as its illegal actions in the West Bank represent a huge escalation of the brutality it has enacted upon Palestinians from its very creation in 1948, but now in the worlds full view, and sadly, condemned too little and too late. Biased media coverage and pressure exerted by pro-“Israel” groups everywhere – i.e. the power of the Zionist lobby to silence any dissent – means that response to what is the worst atrocity of our lifetimes, has been wholly inadequate.

Weeks ago, the Netherlands had asked the EU to review trade agreements with “Israel”, and the EU foreign policy chief stated that “Israel’s” actions go beyond “proportionate self-defence”.

European countries seem to finally be buckling slightly to the weight of public opinion, and likely feel that they must be seen to be acting in some way. There were around half a million people at the pro-Palestine protests in London at the weekend, and although the protests have been going on for 19 months, public opinion seems to be shifting ever more, especially with “Israel’s” recent announcement that it will “capture Gaza”.

Full Blown Sociopathy, Concentration Camps and “Purifying Gaza”

In an echo of Hitlers fixation with “blood purity” and racially “cleansing” the Aryan race, “Israel’s” far right Finance Minister Smotrich has talked of the “conquering” and “cleansing” of the Gaza Strip.

Just as the Hamas cloak of lies has now been cast aside in favour of overt fascist and genocidal statements of ethnic cleansing, with “Israeli” politicians making no attempt to hide their intentions to take over Gaza – so, the world can increasingly no longer pretend that it thought those lies were true; the institutions of power can no longer parade the excuse of Hamas and “self-defence” when even the killer has thrown his mask off.

And in the same way, as any malignant narcissistic and sociopathic actor starts by pretending to be normal, civilized – co-opts the typical narratives of his sympathizers, lies and wheedles his way under an umbrella of lies – Hamas, self-defence, human shields, until not only is it is all no longer plausible, but he also tires of hiding his bloodlust because he feels it so justified, “Israel” has finally declared its intentions all along. Destroying all Palestinians.

Their plan to displace Palestinians in Gaza to the South and put them into three “controlled zones” where they will have to submit biometric data in order to be allotted rations of food, just enough for them to be just over the threshold of starvation – is barbarism beyond anything we have seen.

In other words, “Israel” under the military offensive named “Gideon’s Chariot” will destroy any remaining infrastructure, as seen in its recent massive escalation and targeting of hospitals – and herd Gazans into concentration camps.

So it is possibly of little surprise that the UK has started its damage limitation exercise now; after all, there is the tide of public opinion stronger than ever, the exposure of the typical “Israeli” mindset through documentaries like Theroux’s “The Settlers” and even Trumps apparent growing irritation with “Israel’s” permanent belligerent fixation on war and destruction (which could again be just propaganda designed to buy time). But it seems that the UK’s panicked backtracking is merely mainly symbolic for now, unless it decides to take concrete action.

UK Weapons Exports, F-35 Fighter Jets and Military Assistance for a Genocide

While the UK has announced that it will suspend trade talks with “Israel”, and has imposed sanctions on settlers in the West Bank, there is a prevalent view that some countries are scrambling to publicly denounce “Israel” in order to cover their own bloody footprint and throw a smokescreen over their own complicity.

The UK imposed a partial “arms embargo” on “Israel” in September 2024, suspending around 30 weapons licences, a token move in order to exculpate themselves. From October 2023 to May 2024 the UK government issued over 100 weapons licences to UK companies, weapons which were used to kill civilians – men, women, children, babies – in Gaza.

The UK also provides around 15% of the F-35 fighter jet components for the jets used to indiscriminately carry out airstrikes across the Occupied Palestinian Territory. It provides components for “Israeli” armed and surveillance drones which are assembled in “Israeli” factories and used to spy on and attack civilians.

The UK Military conducts surveillance flights over Gaza and the West Bank from which it supplies intelligence to “Israeli” military operations, as well as allowing the US to use their military bases in Cyprus in order to assist “Israeli” attacks on Palestinian civilians; the UK also trains “Israeli” military personnel in Britain.

The minimal number of licences to “Israel” that have been cancelled, and the F-35 fighter jet legal loophole employed by the UK means that despite its token actions, the UK has been fully complicit in “Israel’s” violations of international law. Thus, the UK is very likely complicit in war crimes and genocide.

Although the US, Italy and Germany are among the top three arms suppliers to “Israel”, the UK nonetheless has been playing a key role in “Israel’s” genocidal campaign over the past 19 months, and it must be held accountable – no matter what statements it releases now.

Every Atrocity Multiplied and Approved by the Majority of “Israelis”

In response to the statement released by the three countries above, and also the assertion that they are “committed to recognizing a Palestinian State”, Smotrich has accused them of “morally aligning themselves with a terrorist organization”.

19 months of continuous, relentless bombardment of a tiny area of land – 365 square km, just over a third of the size of Hiroshima - and yet it has absorbed the equivalent of two nuclear bombs. “Israel” has dropped 2000lb bombs on the besieged territory as well as sealing the borders and starving the population.

It has used drones to target densely populated areas, indiscriminate aerial bombardment, destruction of the infrastructure, quadcopters and fighter jets – all for a civilian population of around 50% children, with little means of self-defence; and yet it has also been peculiarly “discriminating” when it has wanted to target particular individuals like well-known doctors and journalists.

“Baby Killers” is not Blood Libel but the Sad Truth

And still, more than 9000 aid trucks sitting at the Kerem-Shalom crossing, are being blocked not only by the “Israeli” government but by the “Israeli” population. A poll by “Israel’s” Channel 13 last night revealed that 53% of the population disagreed with aid being let in, and 13% said they didn’t know. “Israelis” have vandalised aid trucks – even though Tom Fletcher of the UN has said that 140,000 babies will die in the next 48 hours in Gaza if aid does not enter.

So for a population, the majority of which does not approve the entry of aid to people who are starving and on the brink of death, and which approves the wholesale slaughter of children and babies through bombing, starvation and any other means, what can we call them?

“Israel” and its esteemed representatives in the UK – public “intellectuals” like Simon Schama and Simon Sebag Montefiore, who deflect any criticism of “Israel’s” conduct with accusations of anti-semitism and “blood libel” – invoking supposed “anti-semitic” tropes of child killing, have now irrevocably conflated Judaism with baby killing. The ethno-supremacist Jewish state of “Israel” are the baby killers of the 21^st century.
