“Israel’s” Ugly Apartheid: Anomaly or a Normality?

The West’s Repository, Receptacle and Unconscious

A repository is a place of storage, commonly that of accumulated waste. Just as the unconscious is a receptacle of the dark and unacceptable parts of the psyche, those that we hide from everyday scrutiny and that contain what should never see the light of day, such a repository houses the personally unacceptable that somehow fuels the existence of the larger whole.

But the more aggressive, even covertly - or especially covertly – the larger whole is, the more disgusting and unevolved will be its unconscious. And not only this, but also, just as the unconscious is not a place that remains static and fundamentally disengaged from the psyche but instead feeds into it, infects it and receives sustenance from that which we try to keep down, “Israel”, the toxic repository of the Wests racism and illustrious colonial history of subjugating others, is continually fed, nurtured and protected by it, while it in turn continues to feed the Wests aspirations of domination and superiority.

It has now been exactly two years of a genocide. A genocide that has been flatly denied, distorted into other convenient semantics and subject to indeed, all kinds of acrobatic manipulations and falsifications by the West, that has attempted to deflect and deny whilst feeding the fodder of war into the poisonous receptacle of “Israel”.

The daily subjugation of defenceless Palestinians is a part of the ordinary fabric of apartheid “Israel”

Make no mistake, when the time comes, “Israel” will also be the disavowed monstrous, the fall guy and the discarded other, the one that the West can pin all of its own accountability onto; while having poured into it, its unacknowledged desires for domination it will simultaneously enact its characteristic “sophisticated” and civilized mechanisms of scapegoating, blame and deflection.

We have seen just how easily, glibly and blithely the West can transfer its racism from one focus to the other, within a dynamic of convenience, looking always to maintain its own clean face and elevated discourse of humanity, justice and fairness, the language of colonisation that undergirds its own privileges.

“Israel” enacts the worst parts of the Wests perpetual conquest of domination and enslavement, of oppression and cruelty and ultimately the maintaining of the calibration of unequal rights across the globe; the graduated systems of inequity and the imbalanced scales of justice that are always tilted favourably towards those it regards as its own - its partners in crime, as it were.

This indeed is its litmus – power and wealth must remain in its hands, and because this is only possible with the current system in place, the West is loathe to give it up. The current system being, that “Israel”, the last bastion of hatred and extreme inequality that the West funnels all of its aspirations into and that allow it to not only dominate the Middle East but to graphically illustrate to the world what power and dominion look like, must be allowed to go on existing.

It is almost unthinkable that in the 21^st century, a culmination of centuries of supposed civilization, accumulated knowledge and countless discoveries and psychological insights – a moment where we should be at the pinnacle of our understanding – that there exists an apartheid state that has been bombing, starving and torturing a civilian population for two years, with the manifest help of the West.

Not only that, but “Israel” has written into its constitution, the “Dahiya Doctrine”, its codified blackmail doctrine where if crossed, it will destroy civilian infrastructure and enact maximum destruction on the ordinary population of a country – hence why it is always at pains to label everybody “Khamaas” – every (forked tongue) accusation is a blatant confession, is by now the well-known maxim applied to these largely monstrous and indoctrinated people.

Every major human rights organization has stated for many years, that “Israel” is an apartheid state, not that it is deniable on any level - the flagrant human rights violations too numerous to recount, and apparently too harrowing for social media to allow the displaying of, speak for themselves.

The fact that “Israel” still exists in the worlds full view, demonstrates that the channels of sustenance to it from the West, and increasingly from all those bodies that hold Zionistic interests of wealth and power at the expense of humanity and justice, have been kept open and obstinately maintained; it also clearly demonstrates that knowledge is not wisdom and “civilization” is an empty construct for the West, a word that it uses however it pleases, to justify its violence and to obscure and deflect from the actual state of affairs.

Anomaly or A Normality?

In this sense, the question of whether “Israel” is an anomaly or a normality, in context of the West and its shared system of “meaning”, can be answered – it is both. It is an anomaly in that this tiny “country” fed with a glut of weapons from multiple sources especially the US, UK and Germany – albeit often passively assisted by other countries (e.g. allowing use of airspace or maintaining trade relations) who recognize that being up against “Israel” means taking on the whole gang – continues to unleash mayhem and devastation on a civilian population.

It is an anomaly that this country which professes to be the beacon of liberal values in the Middle East, has checkpoints and apartheid walls and inflicts daily torture and abuse on Palestinians, whose land it illegally occupies both in Gaza and the Westbank – the latter in direct contravention of international law that the West conveniently changes and discards at a whim – actually exists, today, 35 years after the fall of apartheid in South Africa.

It is also a normality; that the West has a belligerent, illegal and fiercely protected outpost in the Middle East which is the receptacle for all of its racial dominance and superiority, and that allows it to pretend to be a benign civilizing influence on the surrounding countries, while absorbng all of its own holocaust guilt and allowing the enactment of its worst behaviours upon others.

An Act of Resistance Against an Occupier Who Speaks Only Violence

Today, October 7^th, a date that for Palestinians marks another massive escalation point in “Israel’s” ongoing Nakba of Palestinians, is for “Israel” the day when an act of violence by an occupied people against an occupier who has not only used the language of violence for 76 years, but understands and communicates only in this language, gave them (“Israeli’s) an excuse to unleash their long fomenting hatred on a civilian population.

It marks the day when the anti-Arab hatred that the vast majority of the Jewish supremacist population of “Israel” harboured in its black hearts for almost a century was allowed to erupt into a genocide and during which we have witnessed street riots where “Israeli” “civilized” society protests for the right to rape Palestinians to death.

It marks a day when “Israel” enacted its Hannibal Directive rapidly followed by a sophisticated dissemination of lies to the international community, about rapes and beheaded babies.

The lies that “Israel” broadcasted have all been subsequently debunked; they were actually a broadcast of and “justification” for, what it intended itself, to inflict, what it has been long salivating over and that its facilitator, enabler and beneficiary, the West, has continually and conveniently omitted from its media and broadcasting institutions while it has continued to shield, support and wholeheartedly endorse “Israel’s” actions.

Dismantling the Beast

The West implicitly recognizes that “Israel” is a part of its own self. Within the topography of its psyche, the West needs accountability and “deflection” mechanisms; it is an organism that requires a place to harbour its darkness and a place from within which it can keep enacting its domination.

This is why the West as a whole, with the unholy alliance of the UK and US (also the last countries to acknowledge the South Africa apartheid) at its nub, will do all it collectively can to safeguard its imperial privileges, the privilege to kill, subjugate and dominate. As such it is a beast that needs to be dismantled.

The recent mobilization of EDL mobs and other racist factions frequently funded by the Zionist entity; and the artificially constructed “Judaeo-Christian” coalitions that claim to uphold Western rights but are actually institutions of white supremacist hate and organized violence against mainly Muslims; are all a part of this drive to protect Western dominance.

It remains to be seen whether the West is evolved enough to recognise its own genocidal role as a part of its wider colonial ambitions, but as things stand, the fight for recognition of Palestinian rights and self-determination, as well as accountability for “Israel” is still at its beginning.

One thing is clear, and many have stated this in some form or other. The fight for Palestine is the fight for our collective humanity. If we can allow this genocide, if we can normalise and then forget the brutality that “Israel” - and the West - has inflicted on the Palestinians, then we are proceeding towards a world that is radically upended and grotesquely distorted. The fight for Palestine is the fight for our own souls.
