I am Sobia Quazi and this is PsychSphere, a Substack publication and newsletter that discusses individual/mass psychology and psychodynamics of cultural, political and global issues especially pertaining to South West Asia (commonly termed “Middle East”) and South East Asia.

I have a special interest in “narcissism” and personality disorders, networks of corruption and the psychopathy of individuals and organisations, that leads to profound and severe impacts on our societies and our ecosphere.

I also use the lens of cultural theory combined with psychoanalytic theory to examine cultural and societal trends in our turbulent times.
