A Freedom Flotilla side note:

I watched a Ray McGovern interview yesterday. Ray is a retired CIA analyst and Pro-Palestine commentator. For days now, I have been questioning many how the Freedom Flotilla plans to arrive safely at the Strip. Previous Flotilla’s have been attacked by Israeli forces. Some have died in their efforts. Ray provided a solid answer to this question. He was on board the 2011 Freedom Flotilla during the Obama administration.

Ray still had contacts in the state department in 2011 and enquired as to how the administration would respond to the Flotilla? They informed him that the best case scenario for the administration would be for everyone on the Flotilla to come back in body bags. They indicated that this would help Obama’s election campaign.

As it turned out, when the Flotilla docked at Cyprus on the last leg of the journey, the Obama administration threatened the leaders in Cyprus to not allow the Flotilla to continue. When they tried to embark toward Gaza, the Captain of the ship was threatened by Cyprus Port Authorities that they were going to board the ship by force and take command of the vessel. He decided at this point to turn back for the safety of his crew and passengers.

Ray explained that the yearly Flotilla trip is a token effort that showers the current US/EU leaders with absolute embarrassment and highlights their extreme cowardice in not forcing Israel to stop the genocide in Gaza. In this context, all of the flotilla’s have been a overwhelming success. To my understanding, if this Flotilla arrives near Gaza on June 8th, this would the anniversary the attack on the USS Liberty which took place on 06.08.67, killing 37, and wounding 171 crew members. Israel has yet to be held accountable for this murderous rampage. Link to interview below:

People are awful. They don't know about the world and don't want to know. It's awful. Humans will support a genocide rather than feel uncomfortable or challenge their relationships with other people although those people support genocide.

Our society seems to be designed to make most people stupid enough to support a genocide if they aren't evil.
